In the same way that a sports car is designed to go fast, we are designed to move. If the sports car is taken out once a week for a 3 mile round trip through a town centre then it would probably develop engine problems fairly quickly. Over time people too develop problems if they sit down all day at a desk or in front of the TV and minimise the amount of exercise they do. Being active has many positive health effects, such as increasing energy levels, improving muscle strength, maintaining a healthy weight, improving brain function, helping you to sleep better, helping to prevent and treat mental illnesses like depression and it can also help reduce some of the effects of aging. Sam joined the Alive team in October 2013 and operates reception on Mondays, Tuesdays & Thursdays, and also at weekends.

Si joined us in October 2017 and has already established a great rapport with our customers! Si teaches our Boxercise classes on Wednesdays & Fridays and offers personal training on these evenings as well.

Nev joined the Alive team in October 2017. He runs our Circuit classes on Tuesdays and our CrossFit classes on Thursdays and he is also available for personal training on these evenings as well.
